How do I list my horse for sale, lease or stud?


  1. From the E-Horse.Net home page click the "List Your Horse" button to jump directly to the listing page.
  2. Complete the submission form and follow the prompts that appear.

How do I add or remove a photo of my horse?


  1. If you want a photo included with your horse listing you need to submit the photo during the submission process. When you complete the submission form and click "submit" you're presented with a confirmation screen to verify the information you entered is correct. From here you click the "Yes, this is correct" button. Next, a page appears telling you that your listing has been save and asks you to select one of the following:

    If you want to add a photo you do so at this point and follow the prompts.  Otherwise your "Text Only" listing is complete.

    However, if you choose to submit a "Text" listing and later decide to submit a photo you must either resubmit the listing and include a photo upon the re-submission OR email (or mail) the photo to us at photo@e-horse.net and we'll add the photo to your existing text ad.

Where do I get a logon ID and password?


  1. Upon your first listing to the E-Horse Network and at the bottom of the  Submission page you'll be asked to choose a LOGON ID and PASSWORD.  These credentials will allow you to access all your E-Horse.Net listings to make changes - including photos.
  2. If you're returning to E-Horse.Net to submit another listing simply enter your LOGIN ID and PASSWORD on the TOP of the Submission page, click "Remember Me" and your contact information will be displayed.

How do I edit my existing E-Horse.Net listings?


  1. From the E-Horse.Net home page click MANAGE YOUR HORSE.
  2. Enter your email address and password and click "Login"
  3. Click the listing to "Edit", "Delete" or "Mark Sold".
  4. Make the desired changes to the listing including adding a new photo.
  5. Click "Submit" when the desired changes have been completed.

Why is my photo displayed so large?


Uploaded photos may be displayed differently depending on the computer and resolution being used.  As a rule all photos should be no larger than 500 x 300 pixels or about 6" x 4".  Most any graphics program (including Windows - Paintbrush) can be used to edit large images.  However, once uploaded our system will resize images to better fit the E-Horse.Net format.

What image formats are accepted by E-Horse.Net?


Although JPG is the recommended format E-Horse.Net also accepts the standard image formats such as. GIF and .BMP.   Photos uploaded in formats other than these will result in the picture not being displayed.  However, we review all new listings and will attempt to reformat all photos into one of the accepted formats.

Can I add my link to your site? If so, how?


Sure! If you have a horse related site, we would be glad to put a link on our page to your site. Please email your link info to info@e-horse.net. You are also welcome to place a link from your site to E-Horse.Net.

Why does E-Horse.Net require a logon ID and password to submit a listing?


A login name and password allow you to edit your own information at anytime.  Your logon ID and password also prevent others from changing any information you have entered.

Are my login name and password on E-Horse.Net  separate from the ones I use to access my Internet Access Provider?


Your login and password are completely independent of any ID's and passwords used to access the Internet from your computer.

Some features don't seem to work correctly in E-Horse.Net - display formats are difficult to read or see.


You may be using an old browser that does not support features that are necessary for getting maximum benefit from E-Horse.Net. We suggest as a minimum that you use Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or Netscape Navigator version 4.08 (or later) or an equivalent browser so that you can take advantage of all of the features of E-Horse.Net.

I'm unable to locate my logon ID or password - can you send it to me?


Click on the E-Horse.Net homepage and enter the email address on your initial e-horse submission.  Your login ID and password will be emailed to you.

If I'm only searching do I need a logon ID and password?


We dislike the hassle of obtaining a logon ID and password as much as the other guy but sometimes it's necessary - such as listing a horse on E-Horse.Net.  However, there is no need to obtain a logon ID and password if you're only searching for a horse.

When will my listing be available online?


All text and photo listings are available immediately after submission.

I only have a regular photo how can I get it on line?


Don't have a photo of your horse on your computer? That's ok!  We'll scan it for you - for FREE!  Just complete the submission page and mail your photo.  As soon as we receive your photo we'll match it up with your ad that same day!  See our Contact page for mailing instructions.  And be sure to let us know if you want your photo back.

How do I email a picture to E-Horse.Net?


Create a new email to photo@e-horse.net Most email programs have an "Attach" button and/or a menu option to "Attach" or "Insert" something to the email. Click the button or select the Attach option and choose your image file - .gif, jpg or bmp are preferred.

Can I use a collage of photos instead of just one photo for the price of one photo?


Yes, but we may modify it to fit our site requirements.

Can I replace my photo? 


Sure, simply edit your existing listing and submit a new photo.  There is no charge to do this.

Is there a counter to see how many times my listing has been viewed?


Not yet - but we're working on it. This feature, when implemented, will allow you to see the number of times your text or photo listing has been viewed.

I have WebTV and I cannot add my horse.


The number one cause of this is problem is JAVA, however, we don't use this problematic technology for our listing process.  If you can get to a browser you can submit your listing.

How do I remove my listing?


E-Horse.Net provides uses with full control of their ads. Click here for info on how to edit or remove your listing.

I tried to add a horse and there was an error. Do I have to start over?


As soon as you get the error, press the back button on your browser, correct your ad making sure to fill in all required fields, and re-submit. You should not have to re-type the ad.

Will I receive a renewal notice for my E-Horse.Net listing?


Yes. you will receive an email message two weeks prior to your listing expiration date.

I have horse related "stuff" for sale. Can I list it on E-Horse.Net?


Sorry, we do one thing and we do it well - sell horses.  We don't try to be a one stop equine shopping source.  We recommend listing with EBAY or some other site that specializes in selling merchandise.

My horse has sold- how do I remove my E-Horse.Net listing?


Log into the system using your logon ID and password, choose the listing of the horse that has sold (or you no longer want listed) and click on "Delete" at the bottom of the page.  You will receive a confirmation after the listing has been removed.

How much are yearly subscriptions?


Yearly subscriptions are $24.95.  Subscriptions allow users to submit unlimited photo listings for one year.  All listings remain online until tyour horse is sold, nolonger available or one year passes - whichever comes first.
