How do I list my horse for sale, lease or stud?
How do I add or remove a photo of my horse?
If you want a photo included with
your horse listing you need to submit the photo during the
submission process. When you complete the submission form and click
"submit" you're presented with a confirmation
screen to verify the information you entered is correct. From here
you click the "Yes, this is correct" button. Next,
a page appears telling you that your listing has been save and asks
you to select one of the following:
OR
![]()
If you want to add a photo you do so at this point and follow
the prompts. Otherwise your "Text Only" listing is
complete.
However, if you choose to submit a "Text" listing and later decide to submit a photo you must either resubmit the listing and include a photo upon the re-submission OR email (or mail) the photo to us at photo@e-horse.net and we'll add the photo to your existing text ad.
Where do I get a logon ID and password?
How do I edit my existing E-Horse.Net listings?
Why is my photo displayed so large?
Uploaded photos may be displayed differently depending on the computer and resolution being used. As a rule all photos should be no larger than 500 x 300 pixels or about 6" x 4". Most any graphics program (including Windows - Paintbrush) can be used to edit large images. However, once uploaded our system will resize images to better fit the E-Horse.Net format.
What image formats are accepted by E-Horse.Net?
Although JPG is the recommended format E-Horse.Net also accepts the standard image formats such as. GIF and .BMP. Photos uploaded in formats other than these will result in the picture not being displayed. However, we review all new listings and will attempt to reformat all photos into one of the accepted formats.
Can I add my link to your site? If so, how?
Sure! If you have a horse related site, we would be glad to put a link on our page to your site. Please email your link info to info@e-horse.net. You are also welcome to place a link from your site to E-Horse.Net.
Why does E-Horse.Net require a logon ID and password to submit a listing?
A login name and password allow you to edit your own information at anytime. Your logon ID and password also prevent others from changing any information you have entered.
Are my login name and password on E-Horse.Net separate from the ones I use to access my Internet Access Provider?
Your login and password are completely independent of any ID's and passwords used to access the Internet from your computer.
You may be using an old browser that does not support features that are necessary for getting maximum benefit from E-Horse.Net. We suggest as a minimum that you use Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or Netscape Navigator version 4.08 (or later) or an equivalent browser so that you can take advantage of all of the features of E-Horse.Net.
I'm unable to locate my logon ID or password - can you send it to me?
Click
on the E-Horse.Net homepage and enter
the email address on your initial e-horse submission. Your login
ID and password will be emailed to you.
If I'm only searching do I need a logon ID and password?
We dislike the hassle of obtaining a logon ID and password as much as the other guy but sometimes it's necessary - such as listing a horse on E-Horse.Net. However, there is no need to obtain a logon ID and password if you're only searching for a horse.
When will my listing be available online?
All text and photo listings are available immediately after submission.
I only have a regular photo how can I get it on line?
Don't have a photo of your horse on your computer? That's ok! We'll scan it for you - for FREE! Just complete the submission page and mail your photo. As soon as we receive your photo we'll match it up with your ad that same day! See our Contact page for mailing instructions. And be sure to let us know if you want your photo back.
How do I email a picture to E-Horse.Net?
Create a new email to photo@e-horse.net Most email programs have an "Attach" button and/or a menu option to "Attach" or "Insert" something to the email. Click the button or select the Attach option and choose your image file - .gif, jpg or bmp are preferred.
Can I use a collage of photos instead of just one photo for the price of one photo?
Yes, but we may modify it to fit our site requirements.
Sure, simply edit your existing listing and submit a new photo. There is no charge to do this.
Is there a counter to see how many times my listing has been viewed?
